One month to design and implement.
Raised $400k+
McCraw Design collaborated with the Texas Wildlife Association during the Covid-19 pandemic to take their Annual Convention completely virtual. This is TWA’s largest fundraiser of the year and usually held in person in San Antonio, Texas. A last minute decision to make the event happen meant we had to have a solid creative strategy in place to achieve the ultimate goal of raising funds for TWA programs for the year. A conference identity and website was created for Wildlife 2020 that could be updated daily by multiple administrators. The site included scheduling, speakers bios, videos, news feeds, and live feeds from across Texas during the conference.
The annual auction was taken online for the first time and was a huge success. It raised $400k+, the largest amount ever! Having an interactive experience brought a new level of engagement, fun and success. It also helped ease capturing funds and allowed to push out to social media. Needless to say, TWA will use the same platform in the future even when the event resumes in person.
An SEO plan and Social Media strategy were put in place and utilized by TWA to engage conference attendees. The staff of TWA were all involved in executing social media engagement on multiple platforms. Texas Parks and Wildlife helped pull off streaming live broadcasts from across the state for the live closing.
